What amazes me even more is that the industry will use people, often expoit them, make as much money off of them as possible, and then when it’s done toss them out like yesterdays garbage and not give a damn about them anymore or what happens to them
Does it really amaze you? It does not amaze me at all.
People must care about themsleves, and not have naive hope that someone will take about them. Sink or swim. Pornstars are not the exception!
There is a period of time in their life when they have success, money and fame. It is their own, and no else, problem if they do not think about their own future at that time. The same can be applied to sportsmen.
They can spend their money in any way they want. Parties, live at a high rate? You are welocme. But remember, that no matter how "bad and cruel" is the industry, no one can command people what to do with their income.
If they do not care about their own future, it is their mistake only. Having rational way of thinking from the very beginning prevents you from conversion into religious slave. Once again this situation proves that church is an accommodation for short-sighted, flabby, desperate people who can't control their life.
Church encourages infirmity. It says "you are deep in the ass not because you are stupid, but cuz you have chosen the wrong way. You need to return to the fold, and serve God for forgivness... blah blah blah". Bullshit!
People just need to be more smart and strong, to be able to make right conclusions and predictions. And eliminate the slightest hint of naivety in their mind. It will prevent you from "brutal and selfish" reality of
any industry. What do they expect when they enter it? Is it so hard to guess which difficulties it might lead to? If you know perfectly well what road you step in, you won't be taken unawares.
Pro-active approach is better than re-active.
All they need was not a church, with its pathetic brainfucking about sins and angels, but a basic knowledge of budget planning.
