Again the claim is, 1 year later, Obama still blames Bush....Thanks for posting links so by the time I'm done you can see what the problem is with them and your efforts to back up the blame charge.
It is interesting that the thinking of this post is not isolated to the originator.
Of course it's not. No campaign is. This is an obvious card being played by GOPers to knock critics of the Bush administration of the path of exploring how bad the country was mismanaged under his administration by blaming the blamers for blaming. Consistently so, there are plenty of people making the claim and using poor examples to illustrate it. As with any campaign if something's said enough there quite enough simple minds to buy it. Irrespective of whether they even back their claim up with relevant example.
No different from the campaign launched by GOPers on the press....preemptive attack in order to make the issue the press instead what they should rightfully covering. Not new stuff nor particularly clever.
In the above link, the only place the name Bush is mentioned in relationship to blame in the entire link is everywhere the blogger says it. Obama mentions the words, Bush, blame, previous administration, etc. exactly zero times combined. Proving again just because someone claims something doesn't make it so.
Obama cites the circumstance we found ourselves in as a completely reasonable means of lending perspective to a circumstance.
The claim Obama blames Bush a year later? That link cites statements from 2/24/09. Case closed.
This is an interesting post on how Obama is pointing the finger and adding some to the pile as well.

The claim, Obama still blames Bush 1 year later the above link is from March 2009. Case closed.
Some other ones:
This one points out that Obama was in office before 2009, just not as president (and has the sound bites of him blaming Bush)

Clearly the office Obama is referring to is the Oval one. Would be nice though if he actually blamed Bush to be consistent with the theme of the campaign to blame Obama for blaming Bush. Stating circumstances and lending perspective may reflect something but doesn't automatically constitute blame. Not that we couldn't get enough of hearing from all Republican quarters about the recession Bush inherited or anything.
On this, Obama is flat wrong. Coakley wasn't a part of the incumbency of the last 2 or 8 years. She was beaten because she didn't think she would have to run a real campaign to win the seat. He is correct though when he discusses the palpable angst over the previous administration which swept allot of people into office including himself. So he blames Bush for him (among others) being in office. :dunno: Sounds about right.

The same as my above comments.
McCain's camera cue just more evidence of the campaign to blame the blamer for blaming. It's obvious as daylight this is nothing more than an "echo chamber" campaign to try and drum beat the blame Bush theme against Obama.
Frankly, I wouldn't have a problem with a criticism of Obama for unduly blaming the previous administration. But I'm not going to criticize him for lending perspective to a circumstance. Nor am I inclined to ignore a reality just because GOPers launch a campaign to make people ignore the mistakes they championed to put us in this situation.
Try again, maybe you and Monica can team up this time with a couple of more friends.
