Kansas governor signs law cutting off court funding if courts strike down 2014 law
Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback has signed a bill that cuts off funding for the state’s courts if they overturn a 2014 law on the selection of chief district judges.
The new law provides funding for state courts for...
Breaking News...Rick Perry is suspending his campaign. Not surprising since he has been out of money for a couple of weeks, and the $15+ million his Super Pac has can not be used to pay his staffers.
CNN announced details of their Republican debate next week on the 16th. 11 in the main debate, the previous 10 plus Carly, 5 in the earlier "**** table" debate. Didn't catch who won't be there. (Did someone officially drop out?)
Saw the video on a couple of news shows yesterday. Jindal's delivery was so wooden I was left wondering if a staff member had written the line and he had memorized & delivered the line without knowing there was a joke there.
I case you wondered where Mel Brooks came up with the name of his Governor role in Blazing Saddles.

and yes you usually are full of hot air :)
Oh hell yes! It makes the other 3 Fantastic Four movies, Howard The Duck, The Phantom, The Spirit, The Shadow, Rocketeer, Doc Savage, Batman & Robin, Catwoman and The Green Hornet look like great classics.
Watched Godzilla the 2014 version and thought it was pretty bad. Predictable plot, undeveloped characters, and so dark it was hard to see what was happening. With a low budget movie I could understand battles with/between creatures to hide the weak special effects. But $160 million should...
First show was good but not the Brilliant we are used seeing from him. Defining his on air persona may take a while since no longer will be playing the "Stephen Colbert" he's done the last decade.
Watched a couple of great movies this weekend. PBS ran the Greatest historical epic "Lawrence Of Arabia". It holds up well and everything about it is just perfect. If you haven't seen it do so, and your local library probably has. HBO had Titanic on tonight, haven't seen it since it came out 18...
CNN & RNC in the last couple of days have revised the rules of the next Republican debate in two weeks so Carly Fiorina will be the 11th Candidate on stage.
BTW A recent Natl pole reported Lindsey Graham had 0 supporters, not rounding to 0% but Zero supporters!
At the risk of going off topic (like that never happens here: ) . How do you do you get an upside down exclamation point (as you just did) or question mark in this forum?
Yes he seems to be attracting few supporters, however he already has over $100 million in funds and he has almost the same advisers as his ******* who ran the dirtiest, but successful, campaign in 2000.
I can't see any link there, it looks like you deleted it.
On further rereading it looks like there never was a link to the source. (and I figured he was still alive anyway.)
Watched the "Back To The Future" trilogy running now on AMC . We are just over 30 years since the first movie was released and a couple of weeks from the "Future" (9/21/2015) portrayed in the 2nd movie. Most of the predictions they got wrong (flying cars, Mr Fusion, Hover boards, weather...
She's the current 'It" girl for action picture roles with Marvel & DC ramping up their movie rosters in the next 3-4 years. She is more likely to be cast in the Superhero movie that the XXX parody is making fun of. Plus she is making millions in MMA.
I'm surprised you didn't notice that she clearly isn't a "genuine blonde" and hasn't touched up the dye job in about a month. I also don't think much of your generalization that blondes aren't smart.
Two unbelievably beautiful women who did Cinemax type soft core and nude modeling are Tiffany Bolton and Rachel Elizabeth.

I didn't think it was bad as much as not as good as it's fan hype. Watching it for the first time my thought was "the director really idolizes Sergio Leone."
"woman being peeped on by Craig Wasson's Jake Scully (who looks like David Duchovny),"
Really Duchovny? Everyone else thinks he looks like Bill Maher.
And as I recall when it came out the critics hated Body Double. I enjoyed it but found the plot more than a bit contrived and unlikely to ever...
The "Boys Club" mentality runs very deep within military and government sectors. I bet it's equally bad among management of Companies too. It takes all of 5 minutes to get a free MSN, Yahoo, Gmail, etc email account that would cover these activities.
