We are in reinstallation of some servers. One of them is the board server, So the board runs currently on a limited number of servers. We enabled the "old" servers queued for reinstallation. So no downtime will occur for now.

Yeah, we where changing nics of all servers today. Thats why you had DB failures. Should not happen anymore now :)

No.. Most of the problems we are facing right now arent related to the freeones software itself. As my partner in crime (Boldy) sayed: Last months we bought serval high end servers from a big worldwide vendor. Unfortunately it looks by now that all network interfaces of those servers are Monday...

This is due to backups that are running at that time. The backup procedure will be changed within this or next week (so you wont see that message anymore).

So you have a meaning full suggestion for us? Its not that we want it this way. Most problems lately are related to hardware or connectivity failures and personally im glad that we kept downtimes as short as possible.

No that would never happen (in my watch)... We have multiple backups to multiple locations. So if something would go very wrong, we can always restore a backup. Although that would result in a longer downtime and loss of some data. But hopefully we'll never have to restore a backup ;)
