You know... I actually agree with you. If you never watched LSU and just looked at the box score, it would be pretty hard not to say their the best in the country. But I've watched LSU quite a bit and I'm just not totally sold (especially J. Lee). I'd like to see what they do once they face a...

    College Football Poll for 10-1-11

I actually voted for Bama at Florida, but now that I think about it... Nebraska at Wisconsin. My reasoning for this is because I think a 1 loss SEC will still make it to the title game. I don't think Nebraska or Wisconsin can afford a loss.

Yeah, OU still has 4 ranked teams yet to play, including a game at Oklahoma St (which could be another top 5 match-up). The Big-12 is very deep this year, if any team in the Big-12 goes undefeated, it will be Big 12 vs SEC in the title game.

So, if you trust the computers more than humans, why did you say this? Nebraska got in because of the computers, not the human polls. And then I have you another example of Oklahoma incorrectly making it to the title game because of the computers. So, I just proved to you the human polls...

Ok, I wasn't aware of the incident in 1997 (I was only 10yrs old). I'm totally aware that the BCS was created to prevent a media biased poll. But if we went by the 'human polls', rather than the computers/BCS system, we would have much more accurate system (especially the last 10 years). Do...

^^^^ No, I'm not confused. I was saying the human polls didn't put Oklahoma in the national championship game after the Big 12 championship. It was the computers and the BCS formula that did. The human polls (or voters) made a statement by not putting OU in the top two (top two goes to the...

Is the college football system flawed? Yes. I don't think anyone is debating that. But I don't know if I blame it on the polls. Take 2004 for example. OU got crushed by Kansas in the conference championship game, and then when the polls came out they had OU 3 or 4. But the computers had OU #1...

Uh... OU and OSU were in the Big 12 south, dude. But if the Big 12 were to add teams and have divisions again, I would split it east and west. Because before, the Big 12 south had all the good teams and the north had all the shitty teams. Hopefully, east and west balances the powers better.

From what I hear the deal didn't get done because of Texas. The Pac-12 didn't know how to incorporate the Longhorn network and have even revenue sharing amongst all the Pac-12(16) members. This meant Texas wasn't going to be apart of the deal. The Pac-12 only wanted to expand because it was...

It's not that big of a stretch. Texas A&M is still a southern school. It's not really east, but it's also not really west. Geographically, the SEC makes the most sense. The Dallas Cowboys play in the NFC East, and the Indianapolis Colts play in the AFC south. :dunno:

Don't know. The article just stated the number of freshman and sophomores on OU's 2 deep roster. Also, I believe they stated OU, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma State were the youngest teams in the Big 12. Which is ironic because those were also the best teams in the Big 12.
