It all got rather exciting towards the end. Would Lewis catch Seb or not? Not enough in the end but if Lewis hadn't had that slow in to the pits which got him the 5 second penalty, it could have been extremely close indeed.

Looks nice BUT - F1 is Open Cockpit. I fear that this would be the start of the slippery slope. If we have cockpits, why not enclose the wheels, wider body for better downforce, etc,etc. Would we end up with LMP's instead of F1 open cockpit, open wheel racers?

Some damp (not wet) races could spice things up a bit. I think Bernie's idea of sprinklers is not so daft an idea.

This is looking to be a much more competitive season. Let's hope that it keeps up for China in a couple of weeks time. There is still the problem of overtaking again this year with faster cars just not being able to get past slower ones - hence Hamilton not being able to keep his lead after...
