Yeah you can switch between them at any time. You have to choose 'select character', load them up then it will ask you what difficulty you want. They are not completely separate, if you quit TVHM at the Southern Shelf and went back to normal, you would end up at SS in your normal game again too...

Campaign Of Carnage is cool, only bad thing is the loot drop at the end sucks, especially if it glitches (happened to me). Captain Scarlett is alright by me, haven't done much of Big Game Hunt yet but witch doctors definitely seem like a bunch of dicks. Looking forward to new characters...

You can get it down to about 5% I think. Sending a ship full of bear/beaver pelts to Saint Augustine is the quickest way to make money in the game.

It autosaves by itself a lot like the other AC games, you would probably be unlucky if you lost a lot of progress? I had a few problems with invisible chests too. Usually they are underground in a cave, you have to search the vicinity to find an entrance nearby.

Max you can carry on your person is 4 weapon slots (by progressing through the main story) and 27 items in your backpack (buying at eridium black market).

The power source things you collect throughout the Desmond parts of the game need to be installed in the cave to open the gate at the end. I did them as soon as I got them but you can wait until the end. You get some Juno/First Civ cutscenes along the way. It may take a little while to figure...

Are you having guns disappearing/changing from dual holsters? I heard that was quite common so I didn't bother with the holster upgrade. Otherwise, I don't think any of my weapons disappeared but consumables like bait/snares may have.

Were you tackling him from behind every time? The first time it failed me I hit him from the front, then I waited for him to go past me the second time before tackling and it worked, not sure if it was just luck.
