There has been a "New Wave of Traditional Metal" surge in recent years. Bands of new playing Metal of old. They mostly play the 80s Metal style. Which by the way is kick ass as the 80s Metal scene is the best IMO.

Enforcer.
White Wizzard.
Bullet.
Cauldron.
Holy Grail.

Just to name a few of the MANY bands that have been around and those who have just arrived that play the old school Metal style.

Real Metal is still very much alive and kicking. You just need to know where to look for it.

It does seem like they will be following that band down the same road. That's what's great about Metal my friend. When one band fails to deliver there are always plenty of other bands out there putting out decent music. Be it from their past and in the present... unlike some I could mention. It's true I mean if it wasn't true then those two bands we spoke of would be the "be all end all" of Metal and Metal would suffer for it. Thank fuck they wont ever get the chance to be in that position.
