I spent time in the Islamic world, circa 1970s...and some time in Israel.
I have close contacts in the country, also a former TV reporter but for an Israeli station...
so, even without these contacts and background, I would be totally for keeping Israel and leaving Islam behind.
And I love the Bedouin culture, just can't handle retro-civilization fanatics.
