Not a bad idea, huh? I don't know, I just find it interesting to see examples of how regional culture varies within the US (and around the world).
For example, if you order a "pop" at a restaurant in some states, they'll have no idea what you're talking about, because they call it "soda". Or, if you're in Texas and you order a Coke, they'll bring you Mountain Dew sometimes.
I find stuff like that to be fascinating for some stupid reason.
OOH, another one...I'm originally from Cleveland and almost everyone in the suburb I grew up in would wear 2 t-shirts at a time (minimum) and everybody else that wasn't from my neighborhood thought it was the strangest thing. We also wore t-shirts under dressy button-up shirts too and everyone thought that was weird as well.
