Yeah, there's the file-size issue with which to deal. Also, sometimes if the pans are too smooth, they strike most viewers as being too slow. As a result, it's always a delicate balance when it comes to creating visual media.

I must give you kudos on the smooth pans on images within that GIF you created. I find that many of the GIFs created by even seasoned Photoshop veterans tend to have image-pans that are too fast and jittery.
