Ok so I just watched that avril lavigne cover of Metallica's "Fuel" and I have to admit I thought it was going to blow, but she did a pretty good job!
I started out doing siggys when I first joined but they were simple photoshopped images at first. One day I started playing around in Adobe Fireworks and figured how to make scrolling ones as well. I've gradually started refining how to do it. It's not that hard once you figure out what you're doing.
I'd be glad to do an avatar. Do you have an image in mind?

Yes, it had to be. That's the only way I could get it to scroll and still include full length shots. Smaller aspect ratios give me more wiggle room. This siggy is compact, but it looks good.

It's not that they aren't good pics, they're just compressed jpeg files. And when they're resized they, look shitty and pixelated. It irritates me. If you compare the two siggys I posted on your page, you can tell which ones were taken from hi-res photos. They look better. It just bugs me that the Cass one doesn't have that quality.
If you want to, yes, have at it. I don't like it because the pictures aren't hi-res. But I didn't have any hi-res shots to work with.
I'm going to make another siggy that scrolls using a brunette of my choosing. If you like it, I'll give it to you.
Ugh. Low quality images don't animate well so everything is static. And if you start with shit, the finished product is going to be shit. Not happy with this one at all. I'll look at some of Raven's pictures and see what else I can come up with.
I hope the siggy doesn't disappoint you...
