It's not that big of a deal, really. I just think that there's a clique in that thread who vote only for HB every week regardless of all the other nominees. It's just a popularity contest. Because of that, I chose not to participate anymore.
You're probably not going to have any luck getting your siggy nominated at SOTW. I told HB that I did not want to participate in the thread and that he should disregard nominations for any of my work. Most of the people who post in that thread know this.
And while I can't force you to do the same, I would ask that you not accept a nomination if by chance someone decides to nominate your signature.
