I was glad that you took it under your wing, and was looking forward to contributing as a member, as opposed to being the guy that ran it.
Changing the way SOTW is done is fine to tweak it, but totally changing the rules is disingenuous to the people (not me!) that began the thread and made the best damm sigs on the board !

Being a dick (myself included) doesn't really help either.

You need a hand lemme know, or ask a question.

I grew up with Dutch culture. They were the first culture to grow tobacco as a domesticated crop. I wish smoking was good for me, I'd smoke like a champion. As it is, I spend more money on excellent cigars, and have about a dozen a year. It lets me enjoy the smoking in the healthiest way possible. I'll find some very nice, relatively mild cigars when we have dinner.

The other option is that I come to your place, and cook extreme gourmet for you and your extra special lady friend. But you won't want that. She'd want to come home with me at the end of the evening...

Let's let the weather get better, and we can pick a day - and let's pick a spot where I can buy you some excellent scotch after dinner.
