Okay: Not an album cover. Who remembers Circus and Creem Magazine? Here's a Creem Girl...

Dude! I had a subscription to Circus. I think it was originally monthly but went bi-weekly for a while. Nothing as cool as getting home from school, checking the mailbox and a new Circus was there.
As for Creem, Boy Howdy! Loved it too.
I also used to get a sort of underground rag called Rock Scene. It was more dedicated to the NY punk scene but they covered a lot of rock acts too. Van Halen were listed as a band to watch before they were signed.. it was mainly a black and white format.
Hit Parader not " The Hit Parade" like my parents read was a decent mag too.
Creem.used to have a fixation with Star Stowe. Some chick affiliated with KISS for some reason.

From Bebe Buell's Wikipedia page ... "In 1981, Buell recorded a four song EP on Rhino Records, produced by Rick Derringer and Ric Ocasek, with the Cars serving as her band on two tracks. The rock band the Power Station began in 1984 when her then-boyfriend John Taylor (of Duran Duran fame) pulled some famous friends together to provide backing for another of Buell's musical efforts. She also formed the band the B-Sides in 1980 but they disbanded in 1985."
I know Jim T. (He'll remain anonymous for this forum). He's a good friend of mine. He's was an A&R man for Rhino Records. He retired in 2009. I have an unauthorized copy of the Bebe's EP, Covers Girl from 1981. It's still the same pink album.

It would look bad ass painted on the side of a Harley tank. Black base coat, face on the bulge of the tank....gotta go with House Of Kolor brand paint. A little to....hard core for a tattoo though.
