The Romans crucified a lot of folks, including christians (ex : After defeating Spartacus, 6,000 of his fellow rebel slaves were crucified along the Via Appia). But crucifiction wasn't the most comonly used way to execute christians. Some were crucified, some were burned at stake, some were decapitateds, some were fed to the lions, etc...

In fact, in spite of that laundry list of ways they hammered Christians, Christianity went on to take over the Roman Empire, including Caesars who declared it the national religion. Some deterrent.

Hell, if Mexico was in any position at all to pay for any of this fiasco, there would have been ******* immigration going the other way starting in 2008. And even if it was built, they'll just tunnel under it, like they're tunneling under the border right now.

But let's be clear, Baron Bonespur could win the election with 97.3% of the vote....and this ridiculous wall is never going to be built.

In Israel, the difference was night and day. In the first years immediately after the wall went up, suicide bombings went down 90%.
