So you know for certain that it was an impartial study? No right wing economist worth their salt would be in favor of dismantling 1/6 of the economy. The measure of a good idea is how many people are looking to steal it. No one in the world looked at America's healthcare system and said to themselves "let's do that". Why? It was needlessly complicated, didn't cover everyone (particularly those who already had health problems) and was absurdly expensive for no tangible benefit. Sure people come from all over the world to study at America's medical schools, as they do to Britain and I'm sure they do to other countries with good schools. But medical schools are not the healthcare system and no one doubts US doctors are well trained, but it doesn't matter how well trained the guy is if you can't afford to see him. Britain established the NHS in the aftermath of World War 2 with an economy close to collapsing and food rationing still in effect and you guys are ****** over the "strain" of Obamacare. Oh and Britain isn't the country with hillbillies that have fewer teeth than there are sane Tea Partiers.

sorry dude but the french medical system is far superior to ours. our FDA is a scam. doctors here are paid by big ***** to write scripts. Ever hear of Amgen? BIG pharmaceutical company. They spend over $100 MILLION a year taking doctors on trips to the Caribbean and other exotic locations.

As I told you the French healthcare system is getting privatized and the French public hospitals have no more financial means compared to private ones and the highly reputed doctors go working into private ones. My uncle lives in Switzerland as well as two of my cousins, and their best hospitals are also private yet their public hospitals are having a good quality of care because in Switzerland the Swiss don't let anybody enter or migrate in the country. You must have at least a high salary and capital over a million of € or $ if you want to live in, Switzerland is the country of the rich. Regarding Germany, their system is slightly better because it hasn't been riden like the French one during decades by welfare cases and ********* to work lazy pieces of **** . Your friend Obama's campaign was financed by some of the biggest finances and pharmaceutic names, and you wonder everything healthcare is expensive. Well first up georges, I'm not rich. And if I were I wouldn't feel any differently. As I said, I am willing to pay more taxes to help people get medicine who can't afford it. I have no problem with people with money. I just don't understand being ok with paying for wars but not ok with paying for sick people's care.

Employers shouldn't be required to furnish health insurance no more than they should be required to furnish car, renters or home owners insurance. Georges said that France was moving toward privitization BECAUSE the socialized system was failing. And get ready for more bad news regarding the ACA. 10 democrat senators up for re-election in 2014 now have decided to support Ted Cruz' demand to delay it by 1 year. This is also being reported by CNN. That is on top of the individual mandate being bumped back by 6 weeks. The wheels are coming off this signature legislation.

Big talk since you're only just in the top 40. We might not be in the top 10, but we're still twenty places ahead of the US and pay less than half of what you do per capita. Which is even sadder when you don't even cover everyone as it shows just how bloated your system must be. Someone somewhere is getting rich and if you have the misfortune to get sick, that won't be you. Which is why I wouldn't seek treatment in the US since I can get treated here for free and because I'm a fiscal conservative when it comes to my budget suits me fine.
