For me, it's the new Broadway Calls and the new Bad Religion. I'm actually not the world's biggest bad Religion fan but the new album is just awesome. Broadway Calls came out yesterday and I've had it on repeat since.

and yes, I buy music because I know how much it sucks when people pirate your ****.

I don't think I've listened all the way through a single song so far this year. How terrible is that?

I haven't picked up a Bad Religion record since Process Of Belief. I liked it, but my tastes have shifted heavily towards metal of multiple kinds in the past few years. I haven't bought (or pirated, not cool) any records yet this year, but I have a pretty big anticipation-boner for the new Queens Of The Stone Age record.

the cross buster always made me feel weird about listening to bad religion. yeah, har har har, you dont believe in god, whoopdy doo.

atheists have made atheism their own religion.

but yeah, i havent been listening to anything new. ive been playing a lot of the ramones lately. in fact... i cant get them out of my head today.

If a simple band logo made it too hard for you to listen to a good band, then you need to sort your priorities out. Plus I never took the logo that seriously. I always thought of it as a literal image of the band's name. Not to mention I don't recall them harping about religion in particular any more than the next band.

no one said thats was my deciding factor, sparky. ive listened to my fair share and there is some anti-religion anti-christianity stuff in it so yes, its weird for me who does in fact believe in christ to sit around bumping stuff slamming my beliefs for shock value. thats just how i feel about them. i listened to them the other day and heard enough that i was weirded out. so whatever. not my cup of tea.

there's plenty of other musicians who might not believe and thats fine with me but who also dont take the time to **** on it, id rather try that out. like i said, they make it a religion. i find it ironic. i dont just sit around waiting for the right beat or sound for me to like a band, there's a lot of factors i factor in to make me a fan. im picky and thats how i roll.

Never figured you for the religious type. I take it you don't wanna go to a Mercyful Fate concert with me then :(

im not religious. i just have a belief. but in no way am i religious. im not into religion.

So atheists are religious but you and your beliefs aren't? I get what your saying about you not being religious, and I respect it, for reals. I was just curious. We should probably stop this before we completely derail Jaana's thread

That's because the last good album made was in 1986...it was called Master Of Puppets.
