Problem is, should the republicans regain the White House this year, the shoe will simply be on the other foot as it applies to whom is serving as the obstruction. "Treason" is a harsh word but it is certainly an agenda that serves a different master than the principles that are ostensibly ingrained into the constitution. The "holier than thou" attitude is a ***** that cuts both ways regardless of political leanings. In the meantime, those who really wield the power (them that's got the money, folks) are ecstatic to see such rancor and division amongst the rank and file since, without a substantial united constituency, there can be no unified resistance to their goals. They feed us bread and circuses to keep us reasonably satiated and amused and then they proceed to exploit us in an unabated manner and, most of the time, with a plurality of consent.

Supporting either "side" ( I guess it's evolved into this "right vs left" thing but it might as well be paper vs plastic, up vs down or in vs out as far as those in control are concerned....just keep everyone fighting between themselves while they pick our collective pockets) is akin to a chicken supporting Colonel Sanders. None of this will change if Romney gets elected and neither will it change if Obama is awarded another term. In fact, the true problem won't be addressed at all since it remains obscured behind a curtain where none of us are allowed to peek, much less try to change.

I did a preliminary search of "liberals ban transfat" and didn't find anything to support your contention that it was liberals that pushed it through. As a matter of fact, I don't think there is an outright ban on transfats. It might bolster your attempt at being a partisan twat by at least giving an accurate example of your gripe with the "fanatic left".
