Look who's he's up against:

A walking, talking cardboard cut-out of an out-of-touch, morman ex-corprate raider.
A bible-thumping assclown who **** gays, colleges and John F. Kennidy.
A three-time married doughboy who doesn't beleive in universal healthcare or same-sex marriage but beleives in making a colony on the moon.
And...that Harry guy.

Really, how can Obama lose?

Its very unlikely he will lose with what he is going up against but anything can happen. Not likely will happen... but could happen.

This is the reason that you pay attention to history, folks. Anybody but [insert name] is not an effective strategy. It didn't work for the Dems 8 years ago. Why should it work now? Four years ago, Romney was the conservative alternative to McCain. Today he is seen as a middle of the road option with little to set him apart from Obama. Everything is about perception.

One of the largest problems is that the candidates are playing to those who are voting in primaries. And, let us be frank, many of those who vote in primaries simply are not important. They, by definition, vote the party line - and many times do not particularly vote for the better of the candidates overall, but the one who might be good for that party at the time. Problem is, many times, that candidate is not appealing to voters over all.
The very rich control the Republican party, which is why Romney is winning. However, once he gets into a general election, is already unstable ground will be remarkably unstable.
Meanwhile, the bible thumpers make another huge part of the party. Santorum appeals to the anti-gay, anti-female types. Were he to get into a general election, he would be destroyed.
Newt is popular among fat angry white guys. There are a lot of those in the Republican circles, but not so much once you get into the general population.
Paul is popular among those who **** government. Traditionally, people who **** government...not very active voters.
But what speaks even worse for the Republicans are the candidates who did not make it. Bachmann, Perry, Cain, Trump. These also were awful candidates, and for very short times, were considered frontrunners. If those are the best the Republicans have to offer, they were either too frightened of Obama to offer a serious candidate, or a remarkably incompetent bunch. Or both.

Newt and Santorum are still vying for the nomination? That alone speaks levels about their common sense.

So it's going to be Obama v Romney. Personally, while they are both dashing men, I think Romney might just be an android with the words Goldman Sachs ™ incribed somewhere. What faults does Obama have that Romney won't do worse? Afghanistan, education, economy. Nope, he'll make them worse. The 1% will do nicely though.

To: President Barack Obama

Subject:
In your State of the Union address last night, you said that the U.S. must start using our natural gas. Here is how to start the ball rolling immediately, not years from now. And, you can bring gas prices down to $2 a gallon in a hurry for struggling American workers. Otherwise, they will soon be paying for $5 gas - and blaming your administration.

Mr. President, you must sign a simple executive order tomorrow that says that all federal vehicles (not private cars) purchased after, say, January 1, 2013, must be dual fuel vehicles that run on COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS as well as other fuels such as gasoline, diesel, or ethanol which can be used as a backup. Smart companies and municipalities are already using hundreds of thousands of such natural gas vehicles. Adding federal vehicles will start the ball rolling to replace foreign oil in a big way. We have a 100 years’ supply of natural gas now, and more discovered every month -- more energy than all the oil in the middle east. And twice as much more available in Alaska.
Converting our federal vehicles quickly is a genius idea that came from nationally syndicated financial expert Bob Brinker. He realized that foreign oil suppliers will drop the price of gas to $2.00 in a hurry to stop us from using our enormous reserves of natural gas. This is an all-win, no-lose initiative for you. All you have to do is sign a piece of paper. (Mr. President, you have to be smart enough to at least bluff OPEC a little. It costs nothing.)
This will save our working families hundreds of billions every year in the cost of fuel and create millions of jobs -- without more national debt. ...]

The president's energy policy is transparently utopian and on top of it all it only serves his special interests.
Renewable energy sources, i.e. solar and wind aren't sustainable, they're supplemental, that's how he could lose his bid for reelection.

Majority Expects Obama to Lose Re-Election

A majority of Americans expect Barack Obama to be a one-term president, an assessment on which, in past elections, the public more often has been right than wrong.

Just 37 percent in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll say they expect Obama to win re-election in November 2012; 55 percent instead expect the eventual Republican nominee to win. ABC’s George Stephanopoulos is asking the president about that result in an interview today.

Report: Swing-state gas prices will sink Obama

If history is any guide, gas prices in swing-states are too high for President Obama to win the electoral votes necessary for his reelection, according to pollster Gene Ulm.

Your first link is five months old, and shows a typical inability to understand the ever changing political landscape. Since you do not have a grasp on that, you would be much better off misquoting biblical quotes.
Since that time, we have gotten to know the Republican candidates quite better, and as a whole, the American people are rightfully unimpressed. Meanwhile, the economy is showing slight signs of improvement - we are in no way out of the woods, but I believe most voters are intelligent to understand that to put the same people who got us into the mess in the first place would be economic suicide.

I do have a grasp on it. The article was interesting to read. Something you must not have a grasp on .

Obama's approval rating is still declining and will not improve the way things are.

New Poll: Obama Approval Rating Drops as Gas Prices Rise.

In the **** of rising gas prices, contentious conflicts in Iran and Afghanistan and continued high unemployment rates, President Barack Obama‘s popularity is on a swift decline, reports the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

If gas prices do not come down before he is reelected, He will more than likely loose. If the do get higher, Unemployment will go up, because employers cannot afford to pay employees.

Same with small business owners.

Plus, I have not seen one thing Obama has done to help the American People.

Do you pick and choose polls with the worst ratings?

Here is one - http://www.gallup.com/poll/153194/Obama-Job-Approval-Rating-Reaches-Weekend.aspx

And here is another which came out today.

Obama is widely viewed as likely to defeat either Romney or Santorum in November. Nearly six-in-ten registered voters (59%) say that Obama is likely to prevail if the election is between Obama and Romney; just 32% expect Romney to win. About seven-in-ten (68%) say that Obama is likely to beat Santorum, if he becomes the GOP nominee.

Ronald Reagan and under his 8 years presidency, the american economy was at its best. Also FDR did a lot for America.

Reagan also doubled the national debt (900 billion to 2 trillion), never balanced a budget, deregulated entire industries and sowed the seed for the income inequality we are seeing now with Reaganomics.
