Damn right! The Pack's defense is inferior to the 2007 Pats. If Asante Samuel hadn't dropped the easiest interception in the history of mankind on the Giants' final drive, the 2007 Patriots would be, without a doubt, the BEST team in NFL history. End of story. How do like them apples?

Apart from New Orleans in their opener who have they played that's worth a ****? Atlanta?
Their remaining schedule is a cupcake too, so they're liable to go 16 and 0 while only facing one really good opponent.

The '72 Dolphins only played 1 team with a winning record the entire regular season. And it was also before the NFL had any **** policy whatsoever so most of the team was jacked up on **** the whole time.
Despite the perfect record, the team wasn't all that.
This thread is a bit premature, than again, the 07 Patriots were also beginning to get compared to the 72 Dolphins early....So with that in mind, i would say the 07 Pats would anniahlate the '11 Packers because they play better Defense the Packers do at this point. The 07 Patriots played good defense and on offense they had Randy Moss minding the 15+ yard territory while Wes Welker was minding the 15 and under territory which created problems for opposing defenses, so long as Randy Moss wanted to play ofc. On the other side, the Patriots D would be in Aaron Rodgers face from start to end with what they had than on the defensive front.
A little early to say the Packers will run the regular season table, but with the look of their schedule they very well might do it. All it comes down to is finishing the job, which the Patriots did not do.

People always fail to see that. The 72 Dolphins had one of the easiest schedules IN HISTORY, and they still came close to losing a couple of those games.
