It's been decided, leave it alone. If you take away the rights of s woman to make that choice, you will create an ******* market for it, and nothing good can come from that. What I find so disturbing about this subject though, is, the pro lifers, all scream about the rights of the unborn *****, but they're not the ones that are going to have to raise, or pay for the *****. If they want to make it *******, the people that vote it out, need to pay for the ******** that will be born. I also tend to agree with the principle that, all pro choice wants, is the right to choose, but pro life, want to take the right away, and impose a religious belief on others. I personally, would not want to be a part of it, and I'm thankful I've never had to be apart of the decision to have one, but would understand, if it were necessary to the safety of the woman...otherwise, I would ask for custody, before wanting to see a pregnancy termination.

excellent post. just like with anything else, people will get them regardless of legality if they want them enough. keep it legal and it will be done professionally and safely, make it ******* and you'll have women dying, being crippled and sterilized due to inept/uncaring "doctors", substandard equipment and dirty environments...just sayin, like it or not, that's how it would go. ironic observation, most pro-lifers tend to be people wanting to hold on to their "Constitutional Rights" yet they want to impose restrictions and bans on people's personal freedom of choice in many regards...hypocrisy at it's finest, or worst depending on perspective

Actually, that's very basically what's in the Belgian Law, a bit more in detail of course.

It needs to be something that is kept legal. Otherwise the world and peoples lives in general will be in a more sorry state than they are just now. I am of the frame of mind that it's the right of the person(s) in question to decide to abort or not. It's not anyone outsides call to make if they are not involved with those who are. Speak for yourself no one else sort of thing. Abortion clinics are needed. They might not be liked by some but they are needed. **** suffer enough through being neglected and beaten through being unwanted. So why should an unwanted pregnancy be a must continue situation if the person who is pregnant doesn't want to go ahead with it. It's their choices what to do no one elses. You could say have the *** and put it up for adoption if it's not wanted. Just don't abort it. But again isn't there enough ******** left unwanted in the world why should they suffer through the beliefs of "some of the people" who try and ***** their views onto others.

Consider me pro-choice. I would rather see the pregnancy aborted than be ****** to continue and bring a life into the world that was unwanted to begin with. IF that is the choice the person in question has made. And like wise if they choose to keep it. But only as long as they themselves have chosen to keep it. Not because of some reason to appease those who dislike the abortion idea. Like I said pro-choice. It's up to them. The reason why the pregnancy happened is of no interest to me. It's not my call to judge the person who is pregnant. It's their business. Be it **** victim or just foolishness or whatever. It's a good thing to want and to be able to fix the situation according to ones own desired outcome. I hope such a thing is allowed to continue.

I would like the christian right to find any argument without gods law or my pastor said in it. This is supposed to be a country of freedoms, your church beliefs are not supposed to make laws.
