It's not about being considered adults. Most girls today give head and ass in the school toilets when they are 14 already. But beside the lucky penises, nobody else knows. Fucking does not make you an adult. But when you are really an adult you can decide whom to fuck and how and why and not to have regrets about it afterwards. As i said, most 18yo girls don't even have a clue on how to come so if they waited a bit and try to get to know themselves a bit better before pretending to be fucking machines it would be better imo.

It's a very good questions and i don't have the answer. But since here we are talking about a job and not about compelling military service, i think that if porn producers treated performers as candidates (like it happens in any other job) and performed a proper interview which didn't exploit only the phisical numbers and the performing skills, but also the attitude and psycological matters, that would help to keep a few immature girls away from entering porn too fast too soon. At the end, even for compelling military service there is a propedeutic psychological and attitudinal test to pass before you're ****** to go and shoot ppl in the head.

I understand what you're saying. And from a 1000 foot view, maybe I could agree with the overall concept of applying some sort of standard "test" for girls (and guys) entering the porn industry. But if it's a competency test, wouldn't we also apply it to those well over 18? Say, a 29 or even 39 year old woman who just went through a messy divorce, developed a **** habit and had a rough *********... can we be certain that she's "mature" enough to make the decision to enter porn?
So what I'm getting at is, developing and maintaining (fair, reasonable and effective) standards would be quite difficult.
The OP is asking us to judge a person's "maturity" based solely on appearance. And I think that's nearly impossible. One cannot look at someone and tell how (mentally) mature they are. To follow what Revidffum posted, if the girl in the picture had long hair, was sporting 36D's, flared hips, had some pubic hair and was wearing more make-up, I doubt anyone (the males here) would give a second thought to her being in porn.
I don't want to see mentally impaired or emotionally troubled people being taken advantage of. But unless a court has judged them to be impaired, I'm not sure what universal test could be used to weed them out. Ya know? :dunno:

To say that the army is not a terrible thing is purely subjective. If I don't want to be there and the government ****** me... then to me, that would indeed be a terrible thing.
I find it odd that an 18 y/o male in America can be put into "service" and not even be able to legally go out and get ******. You can enlist and get blown to ****, but you can't go out and have a few? Think about that one.

Even worse than that, it hasn't been that long ago that a guy could get drafted at 18, sent off to some shithole to die and he couldn't even vote. Think about that one.
The ******** age changed when I was in college. In high school, we could buy **** at 18, **** at 19 and ****** at 21. But ******** ******** wasn't a big deal back then. No one really got wound up about it.
As for 18 year olds being "immature"... some are, some aren't. I have no idea how to judge that. Still playing with dolls and G.I. Joes? Still living with *** & ***? Had a *** but have no idea how to write a check to buy diapers... and don't have a job? I guess a lot of things indicate maturity. But I can see a lot of people, well over the age of 18, being pulled into the immature category, depending on how you measure it. :dunno:

It's not that I don't want to go into the army - I'm too old now anyway. And it's not about Finland's need to have a trained military. I'm simply saying that the government ****** relatively young (immature?) people to serve in the military. And I'm asking, if we say that 18-19 year olds are not mature, do they fully understand what they're getting in to? See what I mean?
