They all generally share the same ancestry. Personally I am half Swedish and Danish. Had to go with Sweden, but Norway always has the best skiers. Sweden has the best hockey players, generally.

All of good Viking stock though.

Do you have any idea how many Swedes are actually in the USA? In the Midwest in particular there is an absolute shitload. My cousins are full blooded. Some of the smartest most pleasant people you could ever hope to meet. Summa cum laude graduates, all of them.

True story: A few years ago we had Dimmu Borgir at the Warfield. While we were setting up front of house, the tour sound guy tries to start a casual conversation by asking the local sound guy, "So, what do you think of the current state of the modern **** party?"

Oh it's not royal ***** but I am proud of it. No different than anyone else in the country that takes pride in their ethnic backgrounds. You are right though I probably talk about it a tad too much.
