I'm really dissapointed that Edge is retiring, he's been one of my favourites for a long time and I think he's earned the right to be mentioned alongside the likes of Hart, Jericho & Piper as the best Canadian wrestler ever. Hopefully now Christian will get a chance at the title and he won't just be a stepping stone for Del Rio.

Yeesh, strong ass words from Val, but he makes good points, Trish does sell more than Melina probably ever will. Usually I'd say go with the younger talent instead of putting someone who's retired on the card, but Trish showed that she can still hang with the best of them and there's basically no one better in the Women's division, well maybe Lita (arguable)

Yeah, I saw this yesterday and found myself agreeing with him. I had heard that Melina and Morrison were treating Trish like **** and I saw Trish's tweet about it. Wouldn't be surprised if Morrison lost to R-Truth on Monday as punishment.

The whole thing is stupid because,

1) Trish did a damn good job (along with others) in rebuilding the Divas division and the crowd loved them. Of course you're gonna put Trish on the Wrestlemania card if you have her available. She's well respected and deserves it.

2) Melina's a fucking heel! She wouldn't have been on Morrison's team anyway!

If I remember correctly, Melina has never liked Trish because of her status as top Diva. She couldn't wait for Trish to retire because she wanted that spot. Newsflash Melina, Michelle McCool is top Diva these days and she's actually a heel. That's who Melina should have been angry at if she had to be angry.

i wish that was shown ON the show. it would be more realistic to see that it is legit...to those people who think it is a work...Like my friend who text me tuesday morning and said "i cant tell if it is a shoot or a work, i think its part of some wacky storyline" !! :eek: i replied to him "its legit he really fucked up his neck,why do you think everything is fake?"!!

i wish that was shown ON the show. it would be more realistic to see that it is legit...to those people who think it is a work...Like my friend who text me tuesday morning and said "i cant tell if it is a shoot or a work, i think its part of some wacky storyline" !! :eek: i replied to him "its legit he really fucked up his neck,why do you think everything is fake?"!!

What the...?! This is one of those cases when you can obviously tell it's real.

Now that Christian is going to face Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship, does anyone think he's gonna win it?

One thing we know about Vince McMahon is that if something has a good story then he's gonna use it, like he did with Rey Mysterio. Months after Eddie's death, one of his very good friends goes on to win the Royal Rumble and then the World Heavyweight Championship.

It's almost the same story, except obviously Edge is not dead. Edge has to retire, his friend goes on to win a battle royal to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship. Could we quite possibly see Christian win the title at Extreme Rules?

I think Del Rio wins. I just hope they keep Christian elevated in the scene, and some time at one point this year gets the World title... he deserves it.

I don't mind when new guys come in and win the championship. Sometimes it works because the person makes a credible champion, like Brock Lesnar. Sometimes it fails miserably, like The Great Khali. Del Rio would make a credible champion, he's ring veteran and he's got a great character. I'd make him champion too.
