nothing much but the knicks have won two close games in a row and melo had to score 39 in both wins. i don't think melo going off is the solution long term but it is a good start.

Damn. The Mavs forgot to show up in the 2nd half. Lakers are playing some sic ball as if late. 1 loss since the all star break. I think they're 2 games behind the faltering Spurs now for 1st. I'd rather see them finish 2nd and play Dallas in the 2nd round and let OKC and San Antonio fight it out.
It is retired, but Greg Monroe is wearing #10 anyway. Apparently Rodman gave his OK on it and Monroe will be the last Piston to wear it.

San Antonio Spurs need to get their game together. They have lost six in a row and only lead the Lakers by 1.5 games heading into today's game against the suns. Worst, they face the Lakers later on this week. Today is a must win against the Suns.

Yep the Spurs did blow out the Suns but they only have 2 game lead. 1.5 again if the Lakers beat the nuggets today. The lead is actually one on the loss column and the spurs play the lakers some time this coming week.

The league doesn't want to see the Spurs in the Finals, they're a small market team. Bulls/Lakers would be a great series, the ratings would be off the charts.
Normally, that play would be about a 10.... but Wade and Lebron do that on a nightly basis. Just sayin'.
