i don't have showtime so i buy the dvds and thus won't see season 5 til sometime around august i haven't tried to see if i can watch it online yet tho maybe i should do that...i've discussed

i actually rather like watching it all at once (over a week or so) versus watching it over twelve weeks

I've been meaning to catch up on it. I saw season 1 & 2 before my Showtime subscription got canceled and I've yet to see 3 or 4, though I know about them and what happens (loosely). A fantastic show, and very well acted, especially by Michael C. Hall.
I'm in Season 2 on Bluray.

Great show, but although we're well into season 5 I still find myself missing Doakes.
That Quinn has the nerve to pass himself off as the white Doakes too. Psshh...

I actually much preferred Dexter's ******* to Doakes and most everyone else, he had potential beyong being simply the Ice Truck Killer. Doakes was cool though. Anybody read the books? They are different than the show by quite a bit.

I thought it was pretty fucked up the way he died. He didn't deserve that. It took me a while to get over it.... but nothing like Rita's death. :******:
I loved that. I hated her character. Deeeexter....you're a husband and a ****** now. You have to be here for us. So annoying.
lol yeah she was getting annoying, but I thought she was pretty hot.
Truth. Especially season 4. She actually did herself up. But she's no.....oh nevermind. I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't watched season 5.
