ABC's "V" Thread

Considering Jane Badler is in her late 50's... I do remember seeing her in the original TV series and I remember thinking "why is my penis standing up?" So far this new series is starting kind of slow and it's got me thinking, maybe season one will be a story of how the resistance against the V's started. From the original show I kind of remember the resistance was already there almost from the begining.

I would say season 2 would be more action oriented but I'm not really counting on it. After all, it's network TV and nowadays there's so many nanny staters that will probably start throwing a hissy fit saying "it's too violent, waah, waah, waah!!"

I **** Anna skullcap hair. Morena Baccarin had gorgeous long hair. Her raven hair really brought out those sexy brown eyes and luscious lips.

Does the new "V" need to introduce lasers like the old 80s show had? Or would that be a step toward the cheeseball?

They introduced "blue energy" this week which was not really cheeseball at all...

I want it to introduce the bad guys winning!
Stinking shaved ape scum! Kneel before your reptilian overlords!
Fucking mammalian cunts!

I've been watching the show. I agree it started slow and started to feel like I was uninterested especially after it took it's long break like it did. I continued to watch it and it has gotten alot better the last two episodes. I have not seen the other V series or movie or whatever. I am not really interested in seeing the old stuff. I will keep watching the new series until it really starts to suck or starts taking long breaks like it did. I feel the same way with Flashforward.

If ABC cancels the two shows like rumored. I probably will go back to not watching tv at all.

It's been pretty good IMO.

It's just too bad many chicks aren't into sci fi...they are the ratings demographic. Or I should say they like their fiction in the form of Desperate House Broads and American "Idle". :o

Lost is ending so they won't get rid of both V and FlashForward and not have a Lost replacement.

One of the shows is safe. I know of no woman who actually watches Private Practice. I think that one is definitely toast.

I've actually been pretty impressed, we just got it here in the UK :)

The original Diana was WAY better than the new, short-haired not-very-glamorous Anna though!! And it doesn't seem quite the same without those bad 80's haircuts lol

I can understand the short hair thing. In the eyes of some nowadays...short hair on a woman projects her as being more serious.

V is for Vandervoort, Laura Vandervoort!
 Another off the charts hot Canadian national chick.

Isn't this the 3rd remake of "V"? Anyway I refuse to watch this show unless the aliens wear the bright orange jumpsuits with the leather vests and blue blocker shades like they wore on the old series. Also I refuse to watch the new version unless Robert Englund repraises his role as "Willie" the sympathetic ***** that sided with the humans.

I have to say that I do prefer Morena Baccarin with longer hair.

Still not sure on the program yet, but I am not ready to write it off like the US networks seem to do to far too many programs far too early.
