How does the Ignore List work?

Ok, so I've put Sophie Dee on my Premium Link Upgrade .
I think we can still post in the same threads.
So what does the ignore list do or how does it work? :dunno:

I don't know, but that does not mean I'm ignoring you.

You can still see the threads created by the people on your list. And you can leave posts in those threads. But you can't see what the person in question says. So for instance if you go into a thread created by someone on the ignore list, all you will be able to do is converse with those not on the list.

Ok, I've completed my test and removed Hot Mega from list but I can still see his comments if they are quoted. :dunno:

I think they will still get the rep points or the neg rep if they are on ignore. I remember getting neg rep from a prostitute (i.e someone I don't like) that I have on ignore. It happened once and I had to take them off ignore to see if it was them. It was. Then I stuck them back on ignore afterwards. The reason I know I got neg repped was because my rep score went down. So it's still usable if on the ignore list.

Thankfully though, most people on here are decent.

Yes because the person that quotes him wont be on your ignore list. So you can't hide posts that are from those not on your list. The quote thing is a thing you need to put up with and hope that not many quote posts the person on ignore leaves.

I know that but if I'm now on the ignore list "Q" shouldn't be able to tell if I was going to rep or not. Kind of a joke...

He wont know who gave him rep, unless he takes you name off the list to see if is your name that turns up next to the rep points. If not, then I guess he would stick your name back on ignore and repeat the process with each person on ignore untill he finds the one that gave him rep.

You can't rep someone if they are on your ignore list :hatsoff:

Yes you must be able to see their posts. I can't neg rep someone on MY ignore list. Because I can't see their posts. But they can neg rep me if I am NOT on their ignore list, even if they are on mine. Because they will be able to see my posts but I wont be able to see theirs.
