so why are people trying to tell other people to vote for this person and not vote for that person.
i never have been one to do what other people tell me.

Not in my case. I'm a fan of Eva Angelina and Shyla Stylez and who in their right mind wouldn't love Devon Michaels. Under different circumstances these ladies would have got plenty of votes from me but I have a duty to support the more active girls.

It's Miss Freeones...presumably the winner of that title should have more than the casual association with the site or contest.

There is a contestant I adore more than any other model here probably 5 times over and she's gotten support from me in this contest since the beginning. But she doesn't appear as interested as maybe she should beyond apparently tossing her hat into the ring. In that case, I can't care more than she does. I shifted my vote to someone who appears to care more about competing in the contest.

In fairness, she has suggested past, similar competitions (not Freeones) seem rigged to her and she does contribute soundly on the site but just doesn't seem all that interested in this contest.

Before everyone ritualistically begins kissing Nina's ass and crucifying me as well as my posts, I would ask that you please look at my most recent posts as well as consider a couple of things.

1. I have a previous id here with 1,964 posts which I choose not to use anymore for personal reasons; moreover, I believe that this entitles me to have an opinion of my own, since I've more than surpassed the "magic" thousand-post threshold.

2. For the majority of the contest, Nina Mercedez has been in the top 10 and enjoys a lot of support. In no way am I saying that she does not deserve support, but the fact remains that, at this point in time, her position is very insulated and assured, while others who are consistent posters on this board could really use our help and our votes. As I said before, this is about votes and calculations and moving contestants upwards to reach a goal, it has nothing to do with who we like and don't like among the top 5 or 10.

3. I actually private messaged Nina to assure her of my intentions and what I actually meant in doing this, and she seemed very understanding as well as even passively supportive of the concept.

4. I fully understand that nobody is being ****** to post messages here. None of us are fooling anyone, and we are all here for a certain reason, be it entertainment, monetary gain, or building a fan base. Yes, it's nice to chat and fraternize with the members regardless of their occupation or location or connection with the adult entertainment industry; however, we each have our own reasons for being here, and it is (or should be) understood that none of us owe any of us anything. It's also true that respect does go a long way, but so does the realization that this is a contest in which people want to do well and, if possible, advance. I have neither done nor said anything directly disrespectful to any member here, regardless of their status; all I ask is for the same understanding and consideration given to any other member.

I understand what you're saying to a point FW. But there are few contestants more deserving of max support in this contest than Nina. Personally if it were the case that you favored relaxing support for a contestant who was solid for the next round..why name names?

Hmmm you almost made it through the entire post... have you seen who is in first? I am lucky to be in 2nd... assuming I get through to the final 20 and then the final 10 everyone's webmasters/agents/producers/boyfriends/girlfriends/stuntcocks get involved and it will get VERY difficult. The 'when Vicky wins' thing has now been posted twice and I am not sure why. I have led this contest all of like 9 days I think.

It's not the naming names that matter, even if I would've simply said the top 5 or top 10, you would've known what contestants I meant due to the fact that, with a few exceptions thanks to the new vote distribution in this second round, the top 5 and top 10 have remained fairly intact. Regardless of what terminology I used, the concept remains the same: the top has a better chance of advancing than the bottom, and since there are some decent, committed, worthy members on the bottom, let's give them some votes and support.

I hear ya and understand what you are doing. That said, for lack of a better term, the politicizing of this process is reminding me of the the current American political system and how screwed up it is.

Instead of voting for who you want/what is right, people are being urged to vote for an agenda. While i understand what you are doing (trying to get women who post her more votes) it goes against the grain of an open election process.

I have nothing against you and have pretty much stopped posting on political threads because all I usually get out of them is frustration. I won't be addressing this issue any more.
