What exactly is a "pr stunt"? Her entire existence is a p.r. stunt. She did this because she's lost, uneducated, fucked in the head, high as hell, *****, stupid, and apparently without one single positive role model in her life. She didn't do this so we would talk about her. She has nothing to gain from that. It won't sell more records, get her any movie deals, or have promoters knocking down her door to set up a concert tour. She's fucking her entire career straight up the ass as we speak.
