That seems to be the big thing now to have a free to cheap sub and paygate all the posts. I think its tacky AF, but it must work I could understand putting a paygate on some posts but not all of them.Mention of OF jogged my memory, the other day I received an invitation to join the OF site of Brandie Love for free, so I had a look and "WOW" joining might be free but it would seem that even her farts are PPV, $5 for this $10 for that nothing escapes a price. I went through and downloaded videos I didn't have as I suspect the site is going to close soon! Picture sets are next. The total size of the video library (2008-2021) is 599 GB, with that being the largest version of each weekly update and the Nvidia and Cyan versions. A total of about 850 files. We will see what the photo set total size is soon. Does anyone want a chronological checklist to include update and largest file name as well as release date? Considering adding this to the subreddit!
In the weeks after Nikki retired Joey engaged with the members frequently. He listened to feedback and took requests of what footage people wanted to see and uploaded previews to the member section which is how we know there is BTS updates that didn't get released. Also there was at least one passionate post about their going years without missing an update and how almost every other model (except Madden) didn't update regularly. Then he talked about the business model which leads to my conclusions!
The 'affiliate business model' is done and piracy a huge issue. Basically they were not making the money they were and content theft was extremely high with the advent of tube sites. Then the BTS updates towards the end were lackluster and people bitched LOUDLY! Their right!! Let's be perfectly clear, Joey told us this would happen when the BTS updates started, not every week was going to be a winner.
Next, they closed Inner Deviant! This was the Nikki Sims social site they spent good money to create years ago and was still used by fans today. All of the trouble tickets are now going to CC Bill and not being handled in house by Joey. Then the end of content updates for the regular site which is sure to anger fans and cause a rapid loss in members!
We are witnessing the close of the tease model era! The Girl Next Door has moved on and left no forwarding address!
TL;DR - All the signs point to the closing of her website, sooner rather than later IMHO. If you are missing anything in your collection then join now and get it while you still can!

Sad to see nikki go, now all my favorite models have moved on with their lives. That is the biggest problem with OFs, no download function!
The great thing about Nikki's site is you can download and there are different file sizes. Also the photo sets are zipped. Some model sites don't zip there pictures so if you want them you have to save every one individually! Some even stamp your username on the download image to prevent piracy. I get it but that is extreme!
