great thread

1. Thierry Henry - Clearly on the downside of his career, but I've rooted for France since studying there in 1997. That was also his first year on the national team.
2. Franck Ribery - Seemingly came out of nowhere in 2006 and really came through earlier today.
3. Frank Lampard - Even before people realized he was one of the smartest people in the world.
4.Cesc - Let's hope he's fit tomorrow.
5. Genarro Gattuso - Especially after seeing this:

That Man U-Bayern Munich game was awesome even though I'm a Man U supporter and Wayne Rooney probably will be lost for the EPL season.

I wouldn't worry about losing Rooney for that long!

He would've just sprained his ankle, give it 10-14 days and he'll be fully fit!

It could actually be a blessing, he will get a long rest, and then return with a few weeks of the season to go, get back upto match fitness, get back on form, and he'll be ready for Englands World Cup Starting 11

Tough time to lose him with Chelsea this weekend and Bayern again next week. Probably the two most important matches of the year. I'll be hoping for a tie vs. Chelsea so Arsenal can jump back to within 2 of the lead.

Speaking of Arsenal, I'm really psyched about tomorrow. A healthy Cesc, Arshavin and Nasri (his goal against Porto was sick) can be just as creative and dominant as Barca. Especially with Iniesta out.
