I have to disagree there. I'm getting married in November and my fiance and I have already agreed to keep a semi-open marriage. There are rules, of course. Communication and respect play a major role. But neither of us look at it as something that negatively impacts our relationship or diminishes the importance of being together. We just see the open aspect of our relationship as something of a bonus that can be a lot of fun at times.

As far as the initial question about marrying a porn star, I'm quite happy with my life now. But I find the idea of marrying a porn star intriguing. Given that everybody's tested and it's quite safe, the only down side I could imagine is the social stigma attached to it. By being married to a woman who has extramarital sex on film, you're opening yourself up to a lot of needless commentary and criticism, so that'd be something to take into consideration. But the idea of being married to somebody in the industry seems like it'd be pretty exciting. Being able to watch her videos and hear her stories any time I want would be a lot of fun.

I never married one, but I lived with a retired one for two years. Like any relationship it had its good and bad points.
