Would hard-knuckle motorcycle gloves work for fighting?

I train in MMA and am quite interested in the sport. While I'd never get into a street fight, I do like buying gear that would work in theory for self defense. Not long ago I bought some expensive Hatch Defender II sap gloves. They don't adequately protect my knuckles I find. I had looked into regular hard knuckle sap gloves before getting the Hatch gloves but read that they knuckle guard is often not correctly places thus doesn't offer proper protection and can be really uncomfortable upon impact.

So this got me thinking, what if I wore my Hatch gloves under some regular biker gloves. Then my steelshot in my Hatch gloves could absorb any impact the slightly misplaced hard knuckle gets, enabling me to punch whatever I want without hurting my fists at all. That's the theory anyway.

So I'm wondering, would gloves like these work?

Before I'd walk around in public wearing two pairs of gloves and steelshot to boot, I think I'd look to move to a better neighborhood. One thing is for sure though: your chances of ever being attacked by a horny woman would be pretty much nil. You could call that get-up Pussy Away.

I wouldn't know. :dunno:

For the modern street fighter in all of us. Plus as needed, you can always dial 911 if you start getting your ass kicked, or ask Siri what to do. :D

Okay, you're not taking this really seriously so it's not as gay as I thought. I had a pair of hatch tactical gloves that suited me just fine when someone would get a little sporty while searching or interviewing them.

you should go to a motorcycle shop so you can try our their selection of gloves. there should be a clear section of drywall near the rack so you can test the knuckle protection.

Who needs motorcycle gloves for fighting? Meh... As soon as Sabrina Deep makes the introduction, this is my future wife. Look how she squares up! Notice how she advances while delivering jabs! Marvel at her left/right/left combinations! Watch how she rolls her shoulders into punches (one punch to the head actually knocks the chubby girl's top off?!)!!! Sheet! I'm going to sell the pistols I would use for concealed carry to buy her a wedding ring. And I'll sell my assault rifles to outfit the nursery (we need to have many, many babies together). Who needs weapons when your woman can kick this kind of ass (and never seemed to get tired!)?

Help me find her, Sabrina! The only name I can find for her online is "DD" (I thought it was her bra size, but it's just her screen handle: Domestic Disturbance ).

I'm talkin' true :iloveyou: here.

Those are really fucking expensive. Why the huge price tag? What makes them better than other biker gloves?
They have welded stitching and kevlar protections reinfrocments so they really protect your hands and fingers well in case of crash. They have also been used in various racetracks whether in super sport categories or 500cc or 750cc races by several bike riders. Segura and Bearing also make very good quality gloves
