World's tallest man

Will E Worm

Conspiracy...
Leonid Stadnik's phenomenal height has forced him to quit a job he loved and to stoop as he moves around his house.

But Stadnik, who Guinness World Records says is the world's tallest human, says his condition has also taught him that there are many kind-hearted strangers.
Since his recognition by Ukrainian record keepers four years ago, and by Guinness last year, people from all over Ukraine and the world have sent him outsized clothing.

They have also provided his home with running water and recently presented him with a giant bicycle. And, on Monday, he got a new car, courtesy of President Viktor Yushchenko.

I saw this on my phone's internet homepage yesterday. On one hand I feel sorry for the guy because it must be hard being the freak that everyone looks at wherever he goes. On the other hand, I'm sure there is some NBA team that would find his "problem" advantageous...

I felt sorry for this guy. He has a tumor in his brain secreting excessive amount of growth hormone which will eventually kill him years later.

Those people with growth hormone tumor usually are not able to play sports because the tumor compressing the optic (eye) nerves in the brain causing problems with eyesight !:nanner:

The majority of people with growth hormone tumor or oversecretion are impotence !

The gentleman from Ukraine, Leonid Stadnik , is 8' 5" and the gentleman from Mongolia is 7'9" (7'10".) The Mongoglian guy just recently got married but has no children.

The French Andre the Giant wrestler (also with growth hormone tumor) died at age 35 years old of massive heart attack.

He seems like a great guy, considering all that I've read about him. I feel bad he has not found his true love and that he probably won't live a very long life. It is good that people are helping him though.

Wouldn't this problem with the optic nerve impede him from being a veterinarian? I think that if his eyesight is good enough to treat animals it should be good enough to spot a basketball.

Being that tall is bad enough, but it's even worse when you body is not proportional and you have medical problems that caused it.
