I thought I'd post a link to this site, which advocates women going topless in public as a matter of equality.

I'm in favor of it, but if one keeps in mind that for every Jennifer Max, Misty Anderson, Stracy Stone, Lenka G, and Corinna (etc.), :tongue: we'd all be getting eyefuls of these:

And mark your calendars - and be sure to get off your ass and out on the streets where you're likely to see some adventurous ladies giving this a try - for National Go Topless day on Aug. 23rd !!

For every fugly set of tits, there are ten fug guys who walk around shirtless.. with their pants sagged-out.. while talking on their iPhone. Bleh. ;)

I'm all for the topless movement, but it occurs to me... the number of rapes will go up in the short term while lonely, sexless internet-generation males get accustomed to nature that isnt on a flat screen in 1080p.

It sounds like a good thought in theory, but could it be possible that breasts could lose some of their "specialness" if they're exposed 24-7? I know that for me, part of the appeal of breasts is that they are generally hidden away and are only exposed occasionally. For me that's one of the reasons I (and I guess most if not all) find them so attractive.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for equality etc but the fact that they are sort of 'taboo' in public makes them more appealing..

Since about 1997, women were permitted by law to go topless in Ontario, Canada. The only exception in that ruling was it cannot be used for commercial purposes. Yet, within days, bare breasts had become blase. Plus, the women that did bare their breasts probably shouldn't have...

I beleive NY State adopted this same topless equality law as well

Wait, NY as in.. OUR new york? That place with the upscale houses and whiny brooklyn boys? lol

There were hundreds of women went topless in Gay Pride Parade in Toronto two weeks ago but the truth is there are no topless women walking in the streets in Ontario except along the beaches.

Back in the 1960-1970's, there were large demonstrations in Washington, DC for Equal Right Movement and all kind of causes. I was there in 1978 ERA Equal Right Movement in the Mall at Washington, D.C., sure there were quite a few women took their clothes off and jumped into the fountains in front of the US Capital to cool off. Other than that, there were no topless women in the public in Washington D.C.

There are weekly demonstration in San Franscisco in front of large department stores selling furs and showing off their totally nude bodies except covered by the banner. But they are not truly go topless except for a cause.

I spent weeks and months in totally nude resorts in Carribeans. But You don't want to see your grandmothers' tits sagging to the bottom ! And after 15 minutes around everybody in a totally nude colonies, you get turned off by not so wonderful breasts and I never see really beautiful women out there showing everything off except shooting a film or modelling. I prefer to sit back in my balony to enjoy the sunbathing babes around the pool.

I prefer women to wear nice, sexy clothes in public to re-define their characters and sexuality.

Or putting glaze on a (hair) pie. But.. not so shiny. or sugary. But.. the same, in theory. Ya know.. a covering.. um. Yeah.

I don't think I could do it anyway - I don't like my breasts and i'm kind of shy about them (too small!), so I wont be showing them off in public any time soon ;o

....Women have been fighting for equal rights for as long as I can remember....So if they want to go topless I say let them.....I think men will always to continue to gawk at women regardless because it is in our nature to........:boobies:

Yes...court rulings determined that, requring women to wear tops when men are not is sexual discrimination, and in violation of equality clauses in your constitution. But they prefer to use the term "topfree".
