I’ve never had that one. Really better than 7UP and Sprite though? I may give it a shot.
I was being facetious, but... 7up was always my favorite (never liked Sprite), but a few years ago, 7up changed the formula and it was just fucking nasty. I tried Sierra Mist when it first came out and it was great, but they must have changed their formula, because it started tasing weird. I recently tried 7up again, and it was good.
If you haven't tried a mexican Sprite yet, treat yourself. They are a buck and change, glass bottle, real sugar, damn good. Not a soda person at all, and these are great. Mix in a shot of cherry kool-aid over ice, and dude.
I had a former employee who would buy food off a Mexican food truck and she would always get a **** (real sugar) from them that they would bring in from Mexico. It was her favorite.
Pepsi had a limited run in the states a few years back where they used real sugar. It was great.
I know corn syrup when I taste it. Its thick and nasty. Makes you feel like **** once you've been away from it enough. These Sprites are light and crisp.
Sierra Mist has had a complicated past. It came out with real sugar at first, then it started messing with sweeteners later on. At its beginning, it was one of the only sodas with real sugar, then they fucked it up. Not sure where they are with their sugar or sugar substitutes now. Prolly stevia at this point.
The parents of one of my former friends owned a gas station and they had a fountain machine. The machine would dispense a set amount of syrup, then carbonated water(or whatever) and repeat those amounts twice more. End result was 3 parts syrup, 3 parts carbonated. We would always pull our cups out of the way on 2 of the carbonated parts, so that we had 3 times more syrup than the carbonated part. It was real good, but too much of it always gave me a headache.
