I'm an old dog, a lurker around here. I have a running tally that I keep each year about which OCSMs are the most active posters, so I know who visits and who doesn't. I also know who is a real pain in the ass and who isn't too from my time as a moderator. Needless to say, most of the OCSMs that I've talked to in the past or on Twitter know they are getting a vote. Now, I know most of the other ladies have their own website with their own forum or simply don't have time to interact because of their busy schedules. Some of them I've interacted with elsewhere.
Given all of this vague information, I can be almost persuaded to change some votes from day to day should you choose to drop me a PM or something. It really feels that the buzz about the contest is somewhat quiet this year. I haven't seen a major uptick in pink names in posting, just a lot of posts from the regulars. Anyone else feel like things are sort of quiet this year? I mean there hasn't been much drama so far has there...or have I just been absent enough to be shielded from all that stupid asinine bullshit?

It sure is quiet. By now there should be tons of new threads, pictures, pink, new members and drama. I'm not used to this silence, it feels a little awkward

It is kind of funny to see some guys posting the same old, "oh look a sudden influx of women!" threads and then see posts like the ones above.
I think forums on the internet have always been unique in dynamics.. and diversity for lack of a better word. So I'll just sound like a broken record and say, "you can't please everyone".
I will never mind losing too terribly much as long as it's to awesome women. And this year it certainly has been nice to see everyone showing the OCSM ladies so much support!
There's a nice sense of community here, especially considering it's a porn forum!

That's definitely a good perspective. I suppose some people are taking it as women being disingenuous, but the ladies taking the time to share any part of themselves is still pretty awesome.
