Ruggers, boxers, wrestlers (not that fake wwe crap), hockey players, Aussie Rules footballers, American footballers and everyone else except basketball players. Basketball is for sissies.
Major 5? The world's top two are far and away football (soccer) and cricket which is globally close behind.Tennis and golf are universal and the rest are local minority sports.
They require different degrees of toughness. Many games are quite short (maybe only 90 minutes) , other games can be played out over much longer times (cricket at the top level has 5-day games)
Tennis must need toughness both physical and mental. You are on your own in a singles match, no team to support you , the game can go on and on and the one who weakens first will lose.Rugby, a sort of grown-up football where they don't have all the nancy armour is pretty tough too.
Not even the most fervent soccer supporter here would consider it to be anywhere near as tough as rugby. It's possible to play a game of soccer without injury!
