Trump plans to declare that Iran nuclear deal is not in the national interest

Yes. Let's go back to when they were on the verge of developing a nuke, had plentiful weapons grade uranium on hand, a functioning plutonium reactor, no financial incentive to chill, and we had no oversight over any of their operations. That way we'll soon be confronted with two rogue nuclear nations instead of just one :)

Spoken like a true American.
1st, nothing has changed with Trump as PREZ. The only difference is the media is portraying Trump as a bad guy PREZ.
They are as usual telling people how to think, what to believe, and how to feel. Barry good, Donny bad. Fire is our friend. Friend.
Other than that its business as usual.

2nd Iran, oh so a threat to us all.
This coming from 2 countries who have actively been in Wars of Agression for decades.
And still are going strong. I'm not even going to list the countries filed with Human Beings the have rolled over since 9/11 alone. But the US isn't a threay....Its Iran.
Now they are saying they are never leaving Afghanistan (the country with all the opium).
Occupied for life...and beyond.
All that ,money they make off that.
Money borrowed from Zio Banks and spent, all going into somebodys pockets.
What all that money could do for The American People and the country.

So yeah its 1984 all over again. Hulk Hogan just beat the Iron Sheik for the WWF title brother.
Now Russian Nicolai Volkoff and the Iranian Iron Sheik will have to form a tag team against us.
Russia #1, Iran #1......hahaha.

But what do I know. I'm still trying to figure out whether its Rabbit Season or Duck Season
Have a good day bodes

Moon and Mars y'all, trial runs for the larger ambitions. Manifest Destiny is in the stars. This world is getting too small. It time conquer new worlds. This sedentary life is driving everybody mad. Shooting concertgoers from the 32st floor in the hotel WTF. Humans need to be preoccupied or else they lose their shit. Either go to war or sojurner off to foriegn lands or end up like Paddlock. Once people start settling sexism, racism, class warfare, all that stuff just bubbles up and occupys us and society ends up convecting with hate and resentment. With the prospect of new land. Things can start anew. New regimes can be established. People can regain a sense of self. A sense of agency. A rekindling of rugged Individualism our forefathers experience when humans last colonized. What we need is impetus. A Sputnik moment. Something to galvanize us and makes unite. China as space competitior would be a good candidate.

With regard to King Salman visiting Russia

(1) OPEC, which Saudi Arabia is a member of, and Russia are teaming up to compete against America Shale to regain control over global energy prices. Both their economies are reliant on the export of hydrocarbon (2) Saudi Arabia are trying to woo Russia out of a stragetic parnership with Iran. Russia wants America out. Saudi Arabia wants Iran out. Neither of them will want to deliver on that. Both want to have control of the Middle East. But for now its the gesture of changing sides that will spook US.

I keep listening to Trump rant and rave about how bad the Iran deal is for us yet he never elaborates (of course, he never elaborates on anything so....). I'd like for someone who agrees with the president to tell me exactly how this deal is bad for America.

Because Barack Obama was the guy that made the deal. Any other reason given is bullshit.

His own administration has stated that Iran is in compliance, but that doesn't fit his plans, so he just says the opposite and his base accept it. He's a lazy, ignorant, rambling liar. Anyone who denies that is a liar themselves.

His "calm before the storm" comment and expected moves on Iran immediately brought me back to this article from July:

This October, Trump Will Try to Start a War with Iran
Something extraordinary has happened in Washington. President Donald Trump has made it clear, in no uncertain terms and with no effort to disguise his duplicity, that he will claim that Tehran is cheating on the nuclear deal by October—the facts be damned. In short, the fix is in. Trump will refuse to accept that Iran is in compliance and thereby set the stage for a military confrontation. His advisors have even been kind enough to explain how they will go about this. Rarely has a sinister plan to destroy an arms control agreement and pave the way for war been so openly telegraphed.

There are still some real journalists out there, good enough to recognize the groundwork for this several months in advance.

I am on the fence on the Iran Deal. On one hand, I respect the effort for diplomacy and anything short of short of war is preferable in mitigating the possibility of nuclear proliferation. Sanctions. Negotiations. Sanctions in bringing about negotiations. On the other hand, there a certain amount of wishful thinking and naivete. President Obama though he can fake it until he makes it. To Keep Netanyahu from doing anything hastily.

On the other side, the Islamic Republic of Iran, you are looking at a state actor that not forthcoming about their intentions, they permit the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to monitor activities but American watchdogs are not permitted. They prefer European, Russian and Chinese scientist visiting the sites, which is not entirely reassuring because Russian and China are at least impartial on the matter and undependable. Stalling in favor of Iran. Remember Russia is too a recipent of US Sanctions. I am certain they want to undermine the concept of sanctions altogether.

But let say at present Iran is faithful to the deal, somewhere down the line, it may decides to negate on the deal, at time optimal when the US lost the military capacity and will to enforce nonproliferation. Iran are holding off and acting compliant. And Iran just taking us for a ride.

Negotiations have always been one of assertive and aggressive gestures. People forget that prior to Iran deal The US under Bush and Obama administration were waging sanctions and cyberwarfare(Remember Stuxnet?) to prevent Iran from gaining the bomb. Trump may be no different. Like his predecessors he is swinging the sword of Damocles to keeping Iran straight.

General Mattis when asked point blank had a long awkward pause, then said, "yes", that the United States should stay in the Iran nuclear deal, expect retaliation from his boss at an undetermined time in the near future. "We'll see. Calm before the storm. TONIGHT on The Apprentice." Trump has managed to turn the White House into Retard Vaudeville.

I don't think we can afford to do any speculating about what Iran may or may not do in the future at this point. The crafters of this agreement knew it was a temporary measure when it was drawn up. It's a "here-and-now" deal whose only option is to remove all control and oversight and let things simply take their course. In this instance, Iran could resume development of nuclear weapons without any restraint whatsoever. This is irresponsible to say the least. How does this benefit the USA or NATO in any way?

Additionally, we send a message to the world, most conspicuously North Korea and China, that agreements with the USA are temporary at best and that we will revoke them without hesitation or negotiation if we so desire. This is an extremely dangerous precedent to set and also serves to send yet another alert to our allies that we will not stand with them (which Trump has already done with his tepid attitude toward NATO, his coziness with Putin and pulling the USA out of the Paris Accords). Revoking our participation in the Iranian deal simply exacerbates this already-festering sore between us and our allies.

I'm worried that North Korea is going to give or sell or a hydrogen bomb to Iran.

Yes, I thought the same thing. What kind of asshole who just happens to be the leader of the free world and the most powerful nation on earth gives a wink and a "we'll see" just because he can and just to hold that fact over the entire world?? What an incredibly irresponsible and reckless (and wholly unnecessary!) thing to do. I actually once fired a salesman for employing the same type of gamesmanship and I sure wish I had the authority to do the same thing to Trump. What a fucking jerk.

Not to derail the current discussion...seriously...no, seriously. Carry on.....but in case anyone is wondering....and you don't seem to be....but no, I'm not pissed.....seriously, when I say seriously, I mean seriously....fuck, that last bong hit made me lose my train of thought....oh yeah!....anyway, what got me compiling the OP.....and then spending the rest of the night jabbing a screwdriver into my arm, was the 75 percent of honey samples had key pesticide story.

Seriously....ok, I'll stop saying seriously......no, seriously, I will (dammit!).....am I the only one that's completely bummed by this?

What kind of asshole...gives a wink and a "we'll see"

Haha, that's trump for "I don't have a fucking clue, but if I wink and say we'll see there are plenty of people stupid enough to believe I do and think I'm playing 4D chess with the world".

He is without a doubt the stupidest and laziest person to ever lead a country. His ignorance is blisteringly obvious every time he opens his mouth.
