Some of the pictures are great because of the story behind it rather than the actual photo.

I kinda like the one of the Rams punting in Cowboys stadium with the light streaming in from the windows just from a purely artistic point of view.

That photo was from the rematch, Jag. Ali stood over him and yelled, "Get up and fight, sucker!"

Gotta go with this one. A truly seminal moment in our society. I remember seeing it live as a young boy and the dichotomy of emotion it created; on the one hand a sense of outrage, on the other a dawning of understanding.


The Clay/Liston fight is an absolute classic. Ranks number 2
Have always liked the Jerry Kramer/Vince Lombardi pic.
The DiMaggio pic is wonderful.
Agree with whoknowswhy that the Rams/Cowboys photo is a pretty striking piece of art.
