Which is the best genre of music?

With everybody bitching about other types of music recently , I thought we would put it to the vote and see which type of music is the best , well which we think is the best :rofl:

Ive took 10 of the most popular types of music and I have lumped a few together but the poll is multable choice because I know everyone likes all kinds of music

Heavy Metal, the lyrics might be hard for some to listen to, but it is one of the ONLY genres left where the musicians actually know how to play their instruments well.

You don't have to be an expert musician to write good songs. Some of the best stuff is the simplest.

I won't disagree with that, but the simple fact is that most of today's guitar work consists of simple repeating chords and riffs. The instruments don't make nearly as much of an impact on today's music as it used to. I have a firm belief that "rock" music should be instrument driven, not lyrically dependent.

My choice is hard rock/metal.

That said, there are some superb musicians in classical, country and jazz.
