I've always been somewhat of a green thumb at home and like to grow whatever I can as well as be in tune with local agricultural practices. I suppose that anything could grow in California as this part of the world has rich fertile and diverse types of soil as well as many different climates (micro climates) to choose from, if you so dare.
Now, off to your local grocer -
Are most, if not all of the citrus, apples, strawberries, cherries, table grapes, melons, carrots, squash, lettuce, tomatos, avocados, onions, grown and distributed in your area of the world ?
If you live abroad, do you ever notice fruit or veggies imported from America whilst you stroll your grocery garden veggie aisle ? Which ones ? Are there any fruits or veggies that are popular in your area of the world that likely wouldn't be so popular outside of your region of the world ?
Do you eat fresh fruit and / or vegetables with most meals ?
Would you consider yourself a "healthy food chef" i.e. - do you incorporate fresh fruits (baking) and fresh veggies into your dinner recipies ?
Finally, have you ever tried and or prepared an artichoke before ?
End of Questionare :nanner: . . says Mr. Banana
