What's up with advanced search?

On the advanced search on the main site, it is asking me to enter at least three characters even though I selected my criteria from the drop down menus. I dont remember it being like this a while ago. Is this temporary?

i have issues with it also.
i typed in "Kylie Rey"
and the 1st page has 1 thread result for kylie but it's Kylie Ireland.
the 2nd page has only 2 kylie entries and it's not for Kylie Rey.
if she has no thread for her than i suck and there should be one started.
but why does it not even narrow the search down to just all "kylie" ?
the 1st thread result was "belladonna" ?!! it was like 20 something pages i'm not looking through 20 pages for kylie just to have it not be right.
the 4th result was "milfs/mature women" ?!!
if something is being done wrong PLEASE advise so i can make it easier on myself when i'm searching for something.(and i can stop getting frustrated)
i love FREEONES i am here on a daily basis to check,post,add,read up on new stuff.

The search-engine has been ported to PHP a few weeks ago and should just exactly work like it did before. The 3-character minimum was always there, unless you had selected a country. At the moment I'm writing a new search-engine, and I would be happy to remove the 3-character limit

@Homie: Can you copy/paste me your search-string?
@Whalers90: I think that you are talking about the FreeOnes Board search, right?!

I've been digging into the C++ code and found a bug in there that was in there since 2004 That bug allowed you pass the 3-character minimum from the advanced search! I'll recreate this "bug" in the current version so that everyone is able to search for all babes via the advanced search again...

If I understand you correctly, this tip might help:
When I search for a thread for a particular woman, I type her name in the key word(s) box in Advanced Search here on the board, then I change the setting right below the box from "Search entire posts" to "Search titles only". When you do that, if there is any thread title matching the name of the girl you chose, that will come up first. (Otherwise the system will search for all threads that have posts with any mention of "Kylie Rey" or "Kylie" or "Rey" whether they are relevant or not.) The following results will be thread titles that match only one of the words. I did this with "Kylie Rey" and no thread with that title came up, so I doubt she has a thread. But what did come up was all the thread titles that had "Kylie" in it. It might be worth checking these because maybe someone asked for an ID on a "Kylie" and it turned out to be Kylie Rey and someone provided links. Or there could be a thread for her that was started before the poster knew her last name. (ex. "Kylie from Tasty Teens" or whatever) Perhaps she also may have pics under another last name. Yep that is what i was speaking about.

and i did what Senob44 mentioned in his post and it made my searches a little easier.
i must be an idoit for not figuring that out.
