What Was The Best Live Show You Ever Saw?

Wow for me there are a few:
The Specials (true it wasn't the original line up but they were great)
Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros (I drank a few beers with him after the show)
Type O Negative (Not only were there hot goth girls there, but Peter Steele did a great rendition of My Shrona and TP'ed the crowd)
NoFx ( the last time I saw Wendy O Williams of the Plasmatics alive)
The Police (The first show my uncles took me to in 1986 in Worcester Mass)

Best show I ever saw was in 2000. It was the Bad Religion "New America" Tour. I was a senior in high school, and they played at Cox (now Viejas) arena in San Diego for 2 1/2 hours, something like 30+ songs, most of them older, and NOT from the "New America" album, thank God.

Imagine being 17 and seeing your favorite band play all of your favorite songs, in a sold out arena, for nearly 3 hours, surrounded by all of your friends. Unbelievable.

Rancid at St Andrews in Detroit. 2 1/2 hour set covering everything from Rancid, Operation Ivy and Lars Fredrickson and the Bastards. After they were done they came back out for an encore and did a bunch of their songs acoustic. Blew me away.

Slayer and Marilyn Manson at DTE in Michigan. Slayer was just loud as fuck and killed it during their set. Manson was more entertainment than actual musical performance. He's got all the props and pyro. It was a great show.

A lot of the old Warped Tours were good too. NOFX, Blink, Deftones, Bad Religion, Bosstones, etc. Ahh the good ole days.

really a big treat. they played the new shit, and the old shit.

i reallyyyy fucking hate it when the crowd starts singing along though.

Easily Bob Dylan and Phil Lesh (Greatful Dead) at the Target Center. Standing ovation for like minutes after every Dylan song that night (he opened, if you can imagine). I'm fairly certain all the 'Dead Heads' in the crowd that night carried those ovations because they were all hallucinogened up for certain. I got the bootleg of the show on CD years later as well from a friend of a cousin. I need to play that shit again some time.

Recently G-Love was great in Duluth. Met him afterword and he was one cool mofo. All of the rap concerts at the Cancun were amazing as well, although I was one of only a handful of whiteboys in most of those crowds and had plenty of mean muggers.

Rammstein. First North American tour in a decade and they blew every person in that arena out of the water (and in one unfortunate case, they rocked so hard a fan caught on fire).

GSB can totally back me up on this one. They were badass. :yesyes:

Guns N Roses last year was also really good. Wasn't the same as when they had the original members but they came out and they played for over three hours. The entire band had their hearts in it and you could tell.
