A question for the big circle: What scene did you like the most in 2001, A space Odyssey?
My fav scene is where the ape drinks water, looks at the camera and screams. that made jump, when i was a kid (6 yrs old)
Such a great movie hard to have to pick favorite parts but I will mention a couple.
I like the part when he calls his daughter to wish her happy birthday,reads the instructions to use the toilet,there is a Howard Johnsons eatery on the station etc.All those commercial tie ins really made the movie seem much more realistic IMO.
Also when the ape tosses the bone up and it becomes a space ship and the great classical music in that scene.
On other movies I have watched over and over,same as many have mentioned.
