In my opinion, with some, it could have a mighty effect on their life, some I think as you mentioned do it for money, some yeah for the love of sex, lure of fame, but more importantly, I reckon they do it to become famous, that their dream is to become a celebrity. could you image getting paid to have sex with Terri Summers. its a crazy crazy world out there.
In my humble opinion, I think there are different motives for people going into the jizz bizz. If you see some of the guys, they are fat ugly fucks who have a big dick. They probably do it to get to fuck women that otherwise they would only do in their dreams.
For most of the women I guess it's about money. Most of these gals come from poor backgrounds and have no education (especially the eastern european ones) and that is why you see them retiring after 2 or 3 years in the scene. For others it's about the celebrity and their desire for sex (Jenna Jameson).
I agree with the rest of you guys though it would be real interesting to read the views of a real pornstar

Good question, hehe and i know the answer,
Well as I see it from my point of view , i love to travel, I love an challenge and I love sex with men or woman.
I was always reading when i was younger a weekly magazine in holland calld Aktueel,. and i was always looking the naked woman in there, that was very soft btw. My family was very open about sex relationships etc, And I grow up in a family with 3 sisters, mum and dad.
And we were always open minded about everything.
When I was reading the penthouse magazine and playboy sometimes I was always looking in the mirror to myself , how it would be if i was in the magazine, because i like a female body I was really fascinated about it.
And we had channel+ at home, so I looked some parts of the erotic movies to , and I found that very interresting.
But when i was 18 I was reading Penthouse again and saw a competition for pet of the year. So i send some sexy photos of myself,. and I got a response the same week. I entered the contest and I loved the pictures were taken for the magazine.
So i was thinking about my future and if i wanted to do this, and if yes how would i want it carreer wise.
And doing this magazine stuff part-time I was also doing several other jobs that i liked. I found out I realy liked the buisness and the whole atmosphere (and yes the money was good too) etc, meeting people,travelling on my own, to other countrys etc. So from that point I got into the hardcore buisness, but that was something i tried with Cain.. and after a year or so I started working with other guys, Its a whole life style i think and you got to think about it , do i want to make quick money or do i want a carreer. And I choosed for a carreer.
What the drive is for many other girls , is probably money.
You can make quick money, but to make quick money , you need to do sometimes things you dont want to do,. and because the girls dont really like it they dont have along term carreer.

What the other girls thinks ?
Its obviously for fame first of course, and then for the money, but then after they realize it wasn't what its cut up to be in the porn industry and they try to hit mainstream Hollywood its already tainted because they will always have the rep for starting out in porn. The price people take just for fame is brutal indeed sometimes. But at the same time they can't blame anyone but themselves, well and the media also.
