Seriously, does no one coding these things think that might be a little problematic? I just came from two different indie video sharing platforms and they both have this feature where you can't watch unless you're friends with the uploader. The uploader, most of the time, appears to be a bot account so what the hell? It's a total monopoly. Worst part is that you can't even complain to the owner because the website has no contact us option to speak of.
What is the point of websites where you need to be a "friend" of the uploader to watch their content?
