What is the latest good TV series you have watched?

I've heard about this. In your opinion, what's so appealing about it?

Without giving too much away....
It's edgy, well-acted and directed. The cast is stellar. Lots of plot twists. It's a drama with ominous horror undertones.
Every character is fucked-up in his or her own way, but I think that somehow makes them all the more endearing.
